Jesus Died For You!
The proof of true love is when a man is willing to lay down his own life for a friend. There is no greater love than this. History proves that Jesus lived and died on a cross. The Bible says that He did this for you and me.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 KJV)
"Who was delivered for our offences (sin), and was raised again for our justification" (making us right with God). (Romans 4:25)
